Kenyan Culinary Expert, Maliha Mohammed, Smashes Hilda Baci's World Record and Establishes a New Milestone
After weeks of determination and anticipation, Maliha Mohammed, a well-known chef from Kenya, has achieved a remarkable feat by unofficially surpassing Hilda Baci's previous record. Notably, Maliha, a mother of two who had already made headlines for breaking a Guinness World Record back in 2019, has now celebrated a fresh triumph online. It's worth recalling that in June, Hilda Baci was acknowledged by Guinness World Records for setting a new benchmark in the category of longest individual cooking duration.
Barely two months have passed since Guinness World Records bestowed Hilda Baci with the honor of holding the record for the longest individual cooking time. However, a Kenyan culinary maestro has outdone this achievement. Chef Maliha Mohammed embarked on her impressive culinary endeavor on August 11 and has unofficially established a new record by cooking for an astounding 95 consecutive hours.
Taking to her Instagram account, Maliha proudly proclaimed her accomplishment through a captivating flyer bearing the words "NEW WORLD RECORD."
Maliha Mohammed's latest achievement came after successfully completing two trial cook-a-thons. Although her exceptional accomplishment is yet to be officially recognized by Guinness World Records, her dedication and culinary prowess are undeniable.
Nigerian Aspires to Break Hilda Baci's Record
Meanwhile, in a parallel pursuit, a Nigerian individual has expressed his intention to break Hilda Baci's Guinness World Record. Godwin Eme, in an exclusive communication, shared a snapshot of the email correspondence he received from Guinness World Records after registering his ambition to surpass the cooking duration achieved by Hilda Baci.
When questioned about his motivation to challenge the cooking record, Godwin attributed it to his deep-rooted passion for culinary arts. He conveyed that cooking has been an integral part of his life, and his burning passion to share his culinary skills with the world led him to establish his own culinary enterprise.
